VdS-approved, accessories of the aspirating smoke detector The aspirating smoke detectors of the SecuriRAS ASD family are characterized by a wide range of applications in numerous areas of application. Supplemented by filters, separators and blow-out devices, reliable early fire detection can be achieved even in difficult environmental conditions. Highly sensitive and intelligent smoke sensors automatically block out dust particles and, thanks to the integrated fire parameter pattern comparison, represent a technical measure to avoid false alarms in accordance with DIN VDE 0833-2. The air sampling smoke detectors are approved for classes A, B and C in accordance with DIN EN 54-20. Depending on the setting, the finest smoke particles are reliably detected. A fire alarm is triggered during the pyrolysis phase, i.e. before visible flames or smoke are generated. Aspirating smoke detectors are used when conventional fire detectors reach their limits. The VdS-approved ASD PipeFlow planning software enables fast and reliable project planning of symmetrical and asymmetrical suction lines, including all accessory components. With the practical optimization function, the planning software always searches for the ideal balance of the suction lines, so that each suction opening has the same sensitivity. The efficient and user-friendly ASD Config software is used for commissioning and service. All important information, such as airflow and smoke values, are displayed graphically in real time for quick diagnosis. The SSD 535-1 smoke sensor is a highly sensitive smoke sensor for use in the SecuriRAS ASD 535 aspirating smoke detector, which works according to the scattered light principle. The integrated high-power LED provides minimal air resistance and thus counteracts dirt. The fire parameter pattern comparison is approved as a technical measure in accordance with DIN VDE 0833-2 to avoid false alarms. The intelligent alarm intermediate storage, the alarm threshold tracking with two-stage contamination display and additional auto-learning function enable use even in critical environmental conditions. Dust particles are detected and hidden with the help of the large measuring volume and by the dynamic, software-based contamination compensation.
