The FireRay 5000 is a photoelectric
smoke detector and works in RETRO
mode. The transmitter and receiver are housed in
a housing and connected to
a remote control unit
. The detector automatically aligns itself
with the opposite
reflector by means of an integrated servomotor
. It detects smoke over
a distance of 8 m to 50 m (with 3
extension reflectors 50 m to 100
m). If smoke enters the infrared beam
and attenuates it in a characteristic
way, a
contact for fire alarm is triggered on the control unit. A total of 2
detector units can be connected to
the control unit.
For each detector unit, 1
alarm relay and 1 interference relay are available
. The control unit is connected to the loop
via
the input-output module. It is also possible to connect the
control unit to a limit value line
.
For installation on inclined mounting surfaces,
we recommend the
UH 1 universal holder.
