The cryplock readers identify
transponders without contact and, optionally
, freely configurable keypad codes in the case of a cryplock reader with keypad
. The
transponder data is transmitted in encrypted form on the basis
of MIFARE in accordance with the ISO/IEC 14443A
standard.
From firmware 2.xx onwards, encrypted transmission with 128-bit
AES encryption based on MIFARE
DESFire is also
possible.

The cryplock readers can be connected to the following
devices:
– Intrusion alarm panels of the complex 200H/400H
series
– Hiplex 8400H
intrusion alarm panels- Comlock 410
door module- Comlock 1030
switching module (unencrypted)
– Comlock 3000 evaluation unit for
access control (unencrypted)
– FWA-BM basic module (unencrypted)

The operating states are signalled directly on the
reader with 3 LEDs and a piezo
signal transmitter.

An authorized transponder activates
the keyboard reader contactlessly
and/or by entering a
keyboard code. During operation
, the capacitive keypad is backlit with
integrated LEDs.
When used with MIFARE
DESFire transponder type and mounting on a
metallic surface, the DZS R/K-MD spacer set
(item no. 100093293,100093294
, 100093296) is mandatory.
