The devices are used to transmit
hazard messages (burglary, robbery, fire,
etc.) and technical alarms
(operating states, limit values,
faults).
They can be operated on:
– Multi-device connection (point-to-end)
Multipoint)
– System connection (point-to-point)
The comXline
3516 transmission device belongs to the generation of next-generation
IP transmission devices.
There are 3 transmission paths available
: the ISDN telephone connection,
the Ethernet connection and the GSM
radio connection (comXline 3516-2 (GSM only)).
The messages
can be transmitted either as voice or digital
protocol VdS 2465 or SIA Contact ID
(SIA DC-05) via the ISDN telephone connection and the
GSM radio channel. The messages
in the VdS 2465-S2 or Contact
ID (SIA DC-09) protocol are transmitted via the
Ethernet port.
The devices comply with the guidelines
VdS 2463, DIN EN 50136 and
take into account the guidelines VdS
2465-S2 (protocol extension TCP) and
VdS 2471-A13 (connection to TCP/IP).
The GSM device is suitable for use
in fire alarm systems in accordance with DIN 14675
and EN 54-21 and for
intrusion alarm systems in accordance with DIN EN 50131-1
.
With breakaway detector, the
transmission device meets the
requirements of DIN EN 50131-10 Grade
3.
Free menu-guided parameterization
is possible on site or remotely with the
PC parameterization software “compasX”.

This installation kit is designed to be installed in
TELENOT hazard alarm systems. The
power supply of the intrusion alarm system
supplies the transmission device.
