histar DUAL 1012AM-B1 IR-MW Motion Detector
VSÖ class GS-H (GS-H 221212/06 E) VdS class C (G 122011) EN 50131-2-4: Grade 3 The infrared microwave motion detector histar DUAL is used to monitor indoor spaces. Using its mirror optics, it detects infrared thermal radiation in a wavelength that is emitted by the human body. The additionally built-in microwave detector detects movements according to the Doppler principle. The microcontroller links both systems, which work according to completely different physical properties. The microprocessor-controlled signal processing SNAP technology (Selective Neuron Algorithm with Powermanagement) in combination with the digital pyroelement provide excellent false alarm security and excellent detection properties. Alarm criteria are distinguished from faults in a highly efficient manner. At the same time, power consumption is reduced to a minimum. The pulsed microwave drastically reduces the power consumption of the DUAL motion detectors compared to other detectors and prevents interference with WLAN networks. At the same time, there is no microwave exposure when the detector is out of focus because the microwave is switched off. The shapely, modern housing design of the detectors adapts inconspicuously to the respective room design (interior design) due to its small design. Individual self-testing per detector address greatly reduces the load on the BUS-1 with several detectors. The detector meets all the current requirements of the European standard EN 50131-2-4. The histar DUAL 1012AM-B1 is intended for connection to burglar alarm panels using BUS-1 technology. For tamper detection when removed from the mounting surface, the detector is equipped with a combined opening and breakaway contact.
