The hilock 2200 digital door handle enables electronic access control of an indoor door. It has its own built-in RFID reader unit, which can be used to read authorized transponders. If an authorized transponder is read, the door handle engages and the door can be opened. The entire electronics, mechanics, LED signalling and power supply are housed in the smallest of spaces in the door handle. Installation in the door is possible without wiring and special tools. With the hilock 2200 digital door handle, 2 different applications can be realized: Stand-alone application In the stand-alone application, the access authorization is managed directly in the internal memory of the door handle without EMA. This makes it possible for up to 1000 people to gain access through this door. EMA application In the EMA application, the digital door handle is connected to the EMA via a hilock 203 / 213 UFM transceiver module. The electronic door handle captures transponder data via the built-in RFID reader unit and transmits it wirelessly to the hilock 203 / 213 transceiver. The hilock 203 transceiver is connected to the intrusion alarm panel via the com2BUS. When using the hilock 213 UFM transceiver, the connection is made wirelessly to the intrusion control panel via a DSS2 radio module. The connection to the intrusion alarm control panel has the advantage that the transponders can be parameterized via the compasX parameterization software of the EMZ complex 200H/400H. This makes it possible to change, delete or add transponders on site or via remote service. During operation, a distinction is made between short and long holding of the transponder to the RFID reader unit of the electronic door handle. This allows authorizations such as arming/disarming as well as access authorization with the same transponder. The integrated project planning mode in the hilock 203 / 213 transceiver signals the radio field strength on the electronic door handle in 4 steps via the built-in LEDs.
