The devices are used to transmit
hazard messages (burglary, robbery, fire,
etc.) and technical alarms
(operating states, limit values,
faults).
The comXline
2516 transmission device belongs to the generation of next-generation
IP transmission devices.
There are three transmission paths available
: the analogue
telephone connection, the Ethernet
connection and the GSM radio route (comXline
2516 (GSM)).
The messages
can be transmitted either as voice or digital
protocol 2465 or Contact ID (SIA DC-5
) via the analogue telephone connection and
the GSM radio channel. The messages in the VdS 2465-S2 and Contact ID
(SIA DC-09) protocols are transmitted via
the Ethernet
connection.
The devices comply with the guidelines
VdS 2463, DIN EN 50136 and
take into account the guidelines VdS
2465-S2 (protocol extension TCP) and
VdS 2471-A13 (connection to TCP/IP).
The GSM device is suitable for use
in fire alarm systems in accordance with DIN 14675
and EN 54-21 and for
intrusion alarm systems in accordance with DIN EN 50131-1
.
With breakaway detector, the
transmission device meets the
requirements of DIN EN 50131-10 Grade
3.
Menu-guided parameterization is possible remotely
or on site using a USB
connection and the PC
parameterization software compasX.

Installation kit for installation in TELENOT
hazard alarm systems. The power supply of the
intrusion alarm system supplies the
transmission device.
