The DFU 911 dust filter unit is used in rooms with normal temperatures and dust or dirt loads to protect the smoke detection elements from contamination. The dust filter unit is installed directly in the intake line of the SecuriRAS ASD air sampling smoke detector. The filter monitoring function in the aspirating smoke detector can be used to indicate the optimal time to replace the filter element after an application-specific filter service life has elapsed.
