The comstar pro DUAL infrared microwave
motion detector is used
to monitor indoor spaces with
critical environmental conditions.
It detects infrared heat radiation via its mirror optics
, such as
is emitted
by the human body.
The additionally built-in
microwave detector detects movements according to the
Doppler principle. The microcontroller
links both systems, which work according to
completely different physical
properties.
The microprocessor-controlled
Signal processing XTRAP technology
(Extended Threshold Regulated Algorithm
with Powermanagement) in combination
with the digital pyro element offer
excellent false alarm protection and
excellent detection properties.
Alarm criteria are distinguished from faults in a highly efficient
manner.
At the same time, power consumption is reduced to
a minimum.
The pulsed microwave drastically
reduces the
power consumption of the DUAL motion detectors
compared to other detectors and prevents interference with
WLAN networks.
At the
same time, there is no microwave exposure when the detector is out of focus because
the microwave is switched off.

Luigi Colani.
Individual self-testing per
detector address greatly reduces the load on the BUS-1
with several detectors.
The detector meets all the current
requirements of the European standard EN
50131-2-4.
The comstar pro DUAL C10 BUS is intended for
connection to intrusion alarm panels in
BUS-1 technology.
For tamper detection when removed from
the mounting surface, the detector is equipped with
a combined opening and
breakaway contact.
