The devices are used to transmit
hazard messages (burglary, robbery, fire,
etc.) and technical alarms
(operating states, limit values,
faults).
The comXline
1516 transmission device belongs to the generation of next-generation
IP transmission devices.
The transmission paths are IP
transmission (up to 4 standing
connections) and the GSM radio channel
in addition to
the comXline 1516 (GSM).
The messages can
be transmitted
via the GSM radio channel either as voice or
digital protocol according to VdS 2465 or
Contact ID (SIA DC-05). The messages in the VdS
2465-S2 or Contact ID (SIA DC-09)
protocol are transmitted via the Ethernet port
.
The comXline 1516 is only
suitable for connection to networks of the
IP protocol family (TCP protocols).
The devices comply with the guidelines
VdS 2463, DIN EN 50136 and
take into account the guidelines VdS
2465-S2 (protocol extension TCP) and
VdS 2471-A13 (connection to TCP/IP).
The GSM device is suitable for use
in fire alarm systems in accordance with DIN 14675
and EN 54-21 and for
intrusion alarm systems in accordance with DIN EN 50131-1
.
With breakaway detector, the
transmission device meets the
requirements of DIN EN 50131-10 Grade
3.
When using the
Transmission equipment in
Intrusion alarm systems of VdS class A
can be based on an additional
transmission path can be dispensed with if
all communication equipment
necessary for operational readiness
is included in the emergency power supply of the
intrusion alarm system.
